Lillian

Denim shorts: Vintage (get similar here). Top: TopShop.
Sandals: TopShopBag: Chanel.

I splashed out on a new bag (instagramed here). I love that it's a modern take on an old calssic. The leather is matte and the hardware is tarnished so it gives what can be quite a preppy style a bit of edge. I like dressing it down with cut offs and flats but it will work great for cocktails too.... I am totally justifying a very expensive purchase!

Italy

Denim Bra Top: TopShop (I also like this one, here).
Sunglasses: Karen Walker. Shorts: American Apparel.
Sandals: TopShop.

The Boy and I spent a blissful week in Italy. Much pasta and salami was consumed.... I think I'm actually having pasta withdrawals.

For those of you that don't know, The Boy and I got married whilst we were in London! Although he is now my husband he will still forever remain The Boy :)

Hen Night

Dress: Three Floor.
Shoes: Zara (sold out but ASOS have a similar shaped sandal here).

Last night I celebrated my hen night (bachelorette party to the Americans) with my nearest and dearest. It was such an amazing night and my friends arranged the whole thing. I felt like a very lucky girl indeed!

I had set my heart on wearing yellow and when I saw this dress it was love at first sight. It's so vibrant and felt like the perfect dress to party the night away in London town.

Beauty Update

My makeup routine was getting a little tired so I did an overhaul of all the products that were no longer working for me. I like to focus on my skin and these are the products I'm loving the most right now.

*Face & Body from MAC: This has very light coverage, it's almost like a tinted moisteriser. After years of using a particular shade I've recently gone one shade darker (C4) as living in LA has warmed up my skin slightly.

*Skin Illuminator from No. 7: I use this on my cheek bones for a dewy finish.

*Perfect Lumiere from Chanel: Gives medium coverage and a flawless, velvet finish. I use this with the 'Face & Body' for a heavier more polished evening look.

*Invisible Loose Setting Powder from Laura Mercier: Don't let the white shade of the powder put you off. This truly is invisible. I use it on my t zone to prevent shine.

*Vitalumiere Aqua Compact from Chanel: Creamy full coverage. I use this instead of concealer (which always looks chalky against my skin) and take it out with me for touch ups. It's really beautiful packaging.

*Sheer Concealer from Burberry: I wouldn't really class this as a concealer. It works in the same way as the YSL 'touche eclat' but has a much better tone and texture for my skin. It's a lovely light weight formula perfect for correcting under eye darkness.

*Mineralize Skin Finish from MAC: This works as a highlighter and is an alternative to the No.7 illuminator. I alternate between the two depending on the look I'm going for.

I get a lot of questions about which fragrance I use. I love the ones from Frederic Malle and my latest one 'Une Rose' was bought with my wedding day in mind. It's the ultimate rose scent. Rich and floral with just the right amount of sweetness. I also like to use 'Lipstick Rose' which has a more glamourous heady feel to it.
